The Joseph & Marjorie Schmidt Gardens
The gardens include a Memorial Garden for the interrment of cremated remains of loved ones. In addition there is the St. Francis Garden for the repose of cremated remains of pets. The garden also includes benches for sitting and meditating, as well as a gazebo and lighting for outdoor events.
The Memorial Garden was consecrated by Bishop Chester Talton in the spring of 2003. There are two categories of Bronze Plaques that may purchased and placed on the monument at the head of the garden: a) Name and dates of each person interred therein, and; b) Name of person interred elsewhere but remembered here. Each plaque may be purchased for $250.
